The various Launcher programs I could find/download/buy on the internet were all pissing me off in different ways. So instead of wasting more time on trying to bend them to behave nicely, I decided to program my very own Launcher. It's working really well now and it does exactly what I want it to and nothing else. I was glad to see that WinForms is still a thing in .NET 5 and 6.
