What you want when watching a war movie is action. You also want violence and blood and gore. You want to feel something for at least 1 or 2 of the characters. You want to root for them or to hate them. "Warfare" makes you give a shit about all and any of them. This movie does nothing right. In the first 25 minutes nothing happens. This group of Navy-Seals get positioned in a home in Iraq to be able to support other soldiers. They lose most of their backup support and then they get hammered down by desert monkeys crawling all over the place.
The Seals don't hit their targets better than any Star Wars Stormtrooper would, and you really don't care what happens to any of them, particularly the screaming ones or the idiotic ones. The Seals get air support at least 3 times by aircraft flybys. Why the hell didn't the pilots just level all the buildings around the Seals? It makes no sense. Saving your own soldiers should have been reason enough to wipe out half of that shithole.
Oh, we are supposed to feel for the family trapped in the home that the American soldiers made their base? Well, surprise! That didn't happen. They were almost certainly no better than the religious brainwashed retards crawling around on the street or roofs outside. Fuck them all. A lot of all the left-wing movie critics love this movie. They love to see Americans in trouble. They love to see those desert monkeys as equal human beings. These critics and their reviews are ridiculous.
If you want to see a real war movie, go see "Rambo (4)" [2008] again. It is a true masterpiece. This new "Warfare" movie is most of all just fucking boring and very annoying. Replay value = none. The actors? Most of them were annoying and I have already forgotten their names.
