A new western saga featuring 2 very hardcore women, Fiona Nolan [Lena "Cersei" Headey] and Constance Van Ness [Gillian "Scully" Anderson]. The Van Ness family controls the entire town, Angel's Ridge, and the silver mining going on nearby. Constance wants to expand the mining operation, and she wants to take over the land that Fiona's family and several other families call their homes. Constance doesn't take no for an answer. Everything soon spins out of control with rape, murders, violence, lies, betrayal and a lot of other bad things.
The pace is fast, the episodes are relatively short, and it is generally very entertaining. It is raw and violent and just the way I like it. There is no woke bullshit being rammed down our throats which is very unusual for Wokeflix. The 2 main characters are both outstanding actresses, but the rest of the cast is great too. I have binge-watched this show twice now, and it was also great the second time.
The last episode ends on a major cliffhanger. I hope Netflix allows this new series to get a second season, I think it really deserves it. You never know what Netflix will do though. Hopefully we'll soon know if this ends in just another Netflix cancellation or if we get a continuation to the drama.
