I have never been a fan of Stranger Things. I can't remember shit from the previous seasons and I can't be bothered to rewatch them. There are so many things wrong with this show and most of them were still present and often worse in Season 5.
- The characters are really annoying. There are a ridiculous number of "important" characters and they are all totally annoying. It is impossible to care for anyone that annoying. It makes it worse when you know they are all covered in plot armor.
- The characters are supposed to be teenagers but the actors are now adults. It looks so wrong and unconvincing.
- The story is absolute bullshit and it has been stretched way beyond breaking point. Episode after episode where nothing really happens, none of the main characters are ever in any real danger. It is a pointless loop of nothingness.
- This show should have ended years ago.
- It looks really great and must surely have been expensive to produce, but still it has no quality at all. This is plebs sci-fi fantasy for people who doesn't really like sci-fi. It is so undemanding that plebs can spend half of the much too long runtime scrolling on their phones and they'll still have no problem following the idiotic storyline. It helps that the story doesn't make any sense to begin with.
- Don't get me started on that Gayer Things scene. We've known for many years now that Will is as gay as they get. It was never a problem being both gay and AND annoying. Why the hell did they then have to shoehorn that ultra-clumsy scene in right before the major battle begins. It was the lamest gay scene ever in the history of gay stuff on Wokeflix and beyond. A new world record of sorts.
- A ray of light in the massive pile of crap: Nell Fisher as Holly Wheeler did impress. I'm looking forward to her future acting career. She really did shine in her scenes with another great actress, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield. But they were the exceptions.
Yeah, the music selection did have some highlights. That's a thing you get for free when making a 1980s TV show.

I made it through Season 5. I guess I must have watched the entire series then, although I can barely remember any of it. Trash TV for the undemanding Netflix crowd. I didn't give a fuck how it would end when I started on the first episode of Season 5. Now that I have watched the last episode I still don't give a fuck. I'm just glad that I'll never have to watch anymore of this retarded crap.
