It seems to be a fact that it is rather impossible to write a review if you have been to a Paul Di'Anno concert. I had lots of fun, and I think I can remember that it was alright musically as well. But having emptied an unbelievable amount of beers and glasses of JD and Coke, it gets a tiny bit difficult to allocate memory space in the brain as well. Good thing is that I shot a bunch of great photos (see link below.)
Being the ex-frontman of Iron Maiden, Paul and his band played a lot of old Maiden tracks, and while it wasn't exactly Iron Maiden, it was still great to hear them sung with the right punk voice. I've always preferred Di'Anno's voice over Bruce Dickinson's voice. Bruce has more range, I know that, but Paul is more punk and raw. So all in all, I think we all had fun, and a great night it was.
