This new MFer is what I've been looking for since I bought my ReadyNAS Duo two years ago. This one is the SHIT! This one is the answer to all my dreams.Running a Squeezebox/Squeezecenter/Squeezeserver on a Duo was never perfect. It was pretty slow to interact with and very slow using the web-interface. Forget about all that now. Ultra 2 Plus is here!1.8 Ghz Intel Atom Dual-core, 1GB DDR3 RAM, same small size as the Duo, and a USB3 port to speed-up backup. What the hell more do you need? Not a thing. Performance? Duo almost spent 2 hours to scan 14.000 music tracks. U2+ takes about 15 minutes. It responds ultra fast using the squeezebox web-interface and using the Frontview interface. It simply performs! Yes, and it does everything the Duo did, only better and MUCH FASTER. It is obviously also awesome to share videos and photos to your TV etc.I was hesitating to advice friends to buy a Duo+Squeeze setup. At least I explained the pros and cons. But this setup fucking owns. It's ultra awesome plus!
