It started out with a trio of 3 girls being My Larsdotter, Gudjørn Tomasdottir and Mia Olsen, but when Mia left the band they were down to 2 bandmembers. They recorded this album in Italy (hence the title) and they are currently on a European tour that will also take them to Copenhagen on May 15.
I've been listening to the record a lot and I really like it. It can best be described as folk music with both girls singing and lots of acoustic guitar, there's a stand-up bass and there's banjo. It is brilliant when you are in need for some slow, somewhat quiet music and let's face it, I can't listen to Norwegian Black Metal all the time, now can I? Well, maybe I could, but sometimes I like to listen to My Bubba & Mi instead, and you should too!!!
