Motörhead - "The Wörld Is Yours", LP, [2010] [Record Review]

Motörhead - The Wörld Is Yours

The newest Motörpunch in the face is a 10 track collection of pure rock'n'roll. It has a lot of the sound from Kiss Of Death [2006] and Motörizer [2008] which is not so strange since it is once again produced by Cameron Webb, who seems to be the perfect choice for this band.

The new album doesn't have quite the obvious hits that the other 2 albums were full of. But still it's a very solid and consistent travel with the Motörhead rock'n'roll machine. Saying that the album doesn't have any completely outstanding tracks it is also a fact that it doesn't have any weak tracks either.

Rock ‘n’ Roll even gonna set you free. Make the lame walk and the blind to see. Gonna take you back to where you wanna be, Do it till the day I die.

The 3 openers Born To Lose, I Know How To Die, Get Back In Line should please any Motörheadbanger out there and it rocks all the way till last song Bye Bye Bitch Bye Bye.

We are the sacrifice, and we don’t like advice, we always pay the price, pearls before swine. Now we are only slaves, already in our graves, and if you think that Jesus saves, get back in line. If you think that Jesus saves, get back in line.

The album will be available in tons of versions: bundled with a magazine, ordinary CD, CD+DVD, vinyl, colored vinyl, download. Should be enough to please any collector. So go grab a cold beer (maybe a Kronenbourg 1664) and a JD and Coke. Crank the amplifier up to 11 and blast your neighbors away. You'll totally love it and they'll hate you. Total win-win.

Total running time - 39:13.
