Motörhead : "Stage Fright", DVD, [2005] [Movie Review]

Motörhead - Stage Fright

Rather old one this sucker, but just in case you didn't know it. This is easily the best Motörhead live DVD out there.

Some may argue that it has a bit too much of an MTV style to it with the camera rotating around like a maniac, and I kinda agree. It does however not affect the simple fact that the images are crystal clear. The sound quality is crispy and absolutely excellent. The Düsseldorfer crowd is totally dedicated. Lemmy and the boys rock like a heavily loaded train on hyper speed. The setlist is fucking awesome. It cannot fail and it surely doesn't.

This is the audio-visual proof that rock'n'roll doesn't get better than Motörhead.

"I've got the medicine you need, I've got the power, I've got the speed. Hear me talking, I'm Dr. Rock!"

We hear you Lemmy. No discussion possible. MURDER ONE always wins.

The bonus stuff on this 2 DVD just adds to the brilliance of this release. Totally cool and very hilarious backstage view introducing the boys and the road crew. Again I must say: Bloody excellent shit.

Oh btw, this is easily the DVD that my neighbors hate/fear the most. Because it was designed to be played EVERYTHING LÖUDER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE!
