Motörhead @ Den Grå Hal, Copenhagen, 2009-06-06 [Concert Review]

Motörhead - Live @ Graa Hal, Copenhagen - 2009-06-06

Motörhead at the Grå Hal, Christiania in Copenhagen. Well outside any ridiculous EU decibel laws it was bound to be a rock'n'roll party like they were meant to be. The football world cup qualification between Denmark and Sweden didn't distract neither the fans nor the band and as a matter of fact we didn't give a fuck until after the gig where we learned we'd won. Sorry Mikkey Dee! :)

Über-Lord of all things rock'n'roll mr. LEMMY FUCKING KILMISTER and his two disciples Phil and Mikkey were in the mood and they blasted our ears to smithereens and we loved every bit of it. The setlist was not exactly revolutionary and pretty much the same as always but with a few nice surprises. The crowd was into it, the band was into it, and everything was just right tonight.

Apart from including Orgasmatron in the setlist I can't think of many ways to improve this old warhorse. Born to lose live to win. Motörhead is the definition of rock'n'roll.
