Mayhem were in town on a Sunday night. They entertained us Copenhagen fuck-heads for 46+ minutes, blasting one of the best metal albums ever made, "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas", originally released in 1994 after much mayhem, murder and suicide.
Hellhammer's drum-kit is bloody huge and so is the sound. The band were hiding in the dark behind the fog and smoke for most of the gig, but what they lack in stage-extravaganza, fun and games, they clearly make up for with their massive wall of black metal.
Mysteriis is the single most evil album in the history of music, and this near-perfect rendition left you standing with a sick smile on you corpse painted face.
Sold at the merch stand outside, was a live version of Mysteriis. Recorded in 2015 somewhere in Sweden. Sounds fine and comes with a DVD of nekkid Swedish virgins being slaughtered in the name of Satan. Okay okay. I haven't watched it yet...
