Marilyn Manson turned Valby-hallen into a great goth party.
I've seen Manson several times before. Often it has been much more about the show than the music, and nothing wrong with that. This gig was different however. The music had way more focus than the show, and Manson actually managed to sing fairly well, something that hasn't always been the case live.
The new songs from "Eat Me, Drink Me" mixed in perfectly with the old classics. On top of that the awful bunker-complex aka Valby-hallen didn't sound as bad as it usually does.
Manson's band didn't make too much of an impression but that doesn't matter a lot when you have a man with Manson's charisma fronting the band.
All in all it was a great evening bathing in sweat up-front and singing along to Manson's many great rock-songs.
