This movie really wants to be a b-movie and it succeeds incredibly well. It is hilarious and it has great ultra violence with many sharp things and heavy weaponry and it has very sexy girls, including: Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay does a good job both at acting and being nude, while the other two keep their clothes on for most of the time.
The rest of the cast include: Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal, Cheech Marin and Don Johnson, but especially our Mexican hero Danny Trejo does a great job as Machete Cortez. They surely picked the wrong Mexican dude to fuck with!
The movie is filled with very funny one-liners and even if it tries to have a story as well and has some political views on the Mexico-US border problems, it is very easy to decide to ignore it all and just laugh at all the madness going on.
I was being well entertained, that's for sure and I can't wait to see parts 2 and 3: "Machete Kills" and "Machete Kills Again". Lol.
