I don't think this movie is anywhere near half as bad as some reviewers claim. Hell, after reading all those lousy reviews I figured it must be a pretty good movie if it has pissed off all those people and so I went and bought a copy.
Josh Brolin is excellent as the scar-faced Hex and even if Megan Fox is not the greatest actress on earth, never has been and never will be, I still like looking at her.
I can only barely remember some of the actual comic books, but as far as I can tell the graphical side has been re-created very nicely in this movie. It has a really cool look and feel to it and even the high-tech weapons (for the age) and the talking-to-the-dead elements work well.
It is not a great movie as such but I found it well entertaining and well worth watching, maybe even several times. To have earned a higher rating the script should have been tightened and they should have added some more ultra violence here and there.
The movie was directed by: Jimmy Hayward. The short running time of 1h21 is no problem. I usually hate long movies anyway.
