This must be the best low budget action comedy I've seen in a very long time.
You get to enjoy an awesome Nazi Moon Base and if you keep in mind that this is a rather low budget movie then the space ship designs and even the battle scenes are actually totally fantastic.
The movie has some hilarious jokes hitting everything from the American President, who has a very strong similarity with a certain Sarah Palin, to the ridiculous United Nations. Most funny however, is the idea of this Nazi society who has been living on the dark side of the Moon since WW2, perfecting their space crafts, collecting Helium-3 fuel and teaching the true Aryan values and way of life to their children ever since. It has been made even better by letting the Nazis speak German and only switching to English when it makes sense.
The female characters are the best in this movie and Julia Dietze is really great as Renate Richter, the cute Nazi teacher. Stephanie Paul is good as The President of the United States and Peta Sergeant as her chief officer Vivian Wagner is also good. The male characters are a bit more anonymous, so none mentioned none forgotten.
I didn't know what to expect from a low budget Finnish movie with a totally far out story, but I was surprised to learn that all the hype around it wasn't for nothing. It is a very funny movie and totally worth watching, especially if you like movies with space battles and Nazis from the Moon. And well, who the hell doesn't?
