Exilia - "Decode", CD, [2012] [Record Review]

Exilia - Decode

Exilia has been a weird pleasure for me since I saw them live at Copenhagen's The Rock in 2009. A weird pleasure like killing fucking zombies. Letting them get just close enough to cover everybody around you in smashed up brain and bone pieces of skull and blood 'n' snot.

This new full-length bastard is very good indeed especially if you liked Exilia's earlier outputs. It's a lot of the same and without any extreme inventions or weird endeavors. Sometimes more of the same is satisfying in itself.

It's a full length from the Italians out of Milano and it's worth your attention. AC Milan is out of Milano as well and worth your attention. But football is not the target of this. Rock is. It all rocks, and even including the always present Masha ballad. This album is probably one of their best. Anyway, me likes - a lot!!

I've got 3 bullet points to end this with:

  1. buy some socks or combat boots and cover your ugly feet!
  2. you used to be jumping more around, but fuck that...
  3. "Over The Edge" is a bloody great song!!!

COPENHELL? Last minute addition? I guarantee, it would fucking rule!
