Die Hard 4.0

I can't deny that I was being entertained. The new Die Hard 4.0 is truly an action movie that keeps the action coming right at you and in huge amounts.

Bruce Willis is - like always - great in the role of John McClane and Maggie Q is pretty good as Mai Lihn. The villain boss Thomas Gabriel played by Timothy Olyphant is however not very convincing.

This is a simple action movie and it is not advisable to analyze it much (or at all) since there are so many plot holes and unrealistic stuff happening in it, that there is no point in doing so. Especially the hacking and the use of computers seems completely unrealistic in so many ways that I won't even try to mention them. But you don't have to be a computer programmer (in fact I am) to tell that there are just too many things that wouldn't work in the real world outside Hollywood.

So well, leave your brain at home and go to a cinema and enjoy the action and explosions. You won't be bored.

"Yippee Ki Yay, Motherfucker!"
