A nice and simple revenge flick starring Bruce Willis as the doctor Paul Kersey. Paul's wife and daughter are assaulted in their home and he decides to take matters into his own hands when the police are working way too slow and ineffectively. I can't remember anything from the original Charles Bronson movie from 1974, but I guess the theme and story was more or less the same?
The movie is a bit slow at times and very straight forward, but there's some very nice ultra violence to make up for it and even some funny shit too. Guns are great, revenge is greater, and evil scumbags should have their ugly heads blown off. What's not to like?
