"Cocaine Bear", Cinema, [2023]

The idea of taking a real event and twisting it to insane levels with a bear that goes all Scarface on mountains of cocaine and killing everyone in sight sounded like good fun.

The action scenes with the bear are acceptable for a movie with a limited budget and they are mildly entertaining. I also liked the politically incorrect scenes with the kids playing around with cocaine. Unfortunately almost everything else in the movie is near impossible to watch. The script is insanely bad. It is one big mess of semi-disconnected scenes and characters you couldn't give a single shit for, all being played by lousy actors with even lousier dialogue.

The amount of blood and gore is rather low, so that can't save the movie either. It is not in any way worth watching this movie in the cinema or buying it on Blu-ray later. Catch it on streaming whenever it gets there and save the money for cocaine or beer instead. It'll also give you the option to fast forward past some of the most idiotic scenes.

I apologize to C for suggesting we should watch this crap movie. In my defense there really weren't any better options. It says something about the quality of movies they put out at the moment.
