I kinda like the new AC/DC album. I've never been a hardcore AC/DC fan and I only own a few of their records. I've only seen them live once (but I admit it was a blast I would love to repeat!) I think most of their songs sound more or less the same.
This new album is no different. All the songs on Black Ice sounds like AC/DC and/or sounds more or less the same. In the case of AC/DC this is no bad thing at all.
It is full-speed boogie rock all the way. It is what we expect and it is what we get. A very fine album which is recommended music for riding your bike really fast through Copenhagen's heavy traffic. I've tested it and it works.
