We all know what happens after a great successful movie. Next comes a sequel that sucks donkey balls, because they forget everything that made the first movie great. Well, not this fucking time! Here's a sequel that is just as great, if not even better than the first movie.
This sequel is still violent and bloody and it is packed with so many jokes, that you'll get very exhausted trying to catch them all. Even though many of the jokes are aimed at other superhero movies, they are easy to understand even if you haven't seen all the other movies.
Generally speaking, I hate kids in action movies and I can't say I'm entirely happy with the kid in this movie either, but he doesn't spoil the movie, and he is important for the plot. Some of the plot twists are predictable, but it doesn't matter at all. It's all fun and games and a mighty fine ride from beginning to end.
Most of the movie's action runs at an insane pace, and Deadpool's many new teammates and enemies only add even more fun to the franchise. The most important ones are Domino [Zazie Beetz] and Cable [Josh Brolin]. Obviously the X-men and women from the first movie join in too. When the movie appears to finally have lost it's insane pace near the end, it even manages to become rather emotional.
This movie has it all and then some, and the soundtrack is awesome too with some nice classic 80s tunes. Don't forget to watch the bonus scenes during the end credits, they are hilarious and not to be missed.
Is it better than the first Deadpool? It's a tough call, but I was so bloody well entertained and I was so glad to see a sequel that didn't disappoint me one bit, that I'll go for a top rating here. Well, done Wade [Ryan Reynolds] and Co.
