World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles

They have put the wrong title on this pile of shit. "But, think about the children" would have been a much better title. Cliché upon cliché of "But, think about the children" and stupidity disguised as honor and bravery.

What military team would give a flying fuck about 5 civilians in the middle of fucking Armageddon?

What is the point of shooting an entire movie using hand-held cameras? When you have seen 10 minutes, you are getting dizzy and after the full movie you have a major headache (alright, I cheated and brought one with me from home.) If you want to see how hand-held camera can be used cleverly to create intense action then go see "District 9"[2009] instead, which by the way, also incorporates a story. Something "Battle L.A." couldn't be arsed to care about. They just throw in a bunch of annoying screaming children instead.

Yup, all the actors are annoying as well, including Michelle Rodriguez. Why she agreed to star in this movie is beyond me.

The only thing that saves the movie from being a complete disaster is the special effects. They could have been much better however, if the bloody pictures didn't jump up and down like a freakin' kangaroo with a frog up it's ass for the entire movie.

Runtime: 116 min (which feels like forever...more or less)
