This Bria Valente debut album has been produced and written, composed and co-performed by Prince. It is part of the LotusFlow3r package and that is very much the only reason why it ever ended in my player.
The songs are soft and smooth and not very interesting to be honest. The album is about as dangerous as a sleepy kitten. Obviously it doesn't completely suck when Prince has constructed the album but on the other hand it doesn't exactly make you jump up and down with joy either.
I'm not sure who Bria Valente is or what her relationship with Prince is. Maybe some of the good old in-out? History has witnessed quite a few Prince fueled album releases by young promising girls. Most of them are not particularly good. If you want to listen to a quality release of this type I would recommend the Jill Jones debut [1987], Sheila E. The Glamourous Life [1984] or even Carmen Electra [1992.]
