Ridley Scott's über-classic "Blade Runner" from 1982 is simply an amazing achievement. Not only is the story really cool and universal, but the actors (especially Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young and Daryl Hannah) are performing better than outstanding. On top of that you get the coolest and most convincing sci-fi nightmare of a metropolis ever created in a movie. Created 26 years ago and looking so much better than today's CGI versions of the future. It looks nothing short of awesome in a top class cinema like Copenhagen's Imperial. The soundtrack is totally cool as well, and the count of immortal oneliners is huge. I mean, it wasn't for nothing that Sigue Sigue Sputnik sampled half of this movie in 1986 on "Love Missile F1-11".
All that said I couldn't really tell the difference between the 1992(Director's Cut) and this new Final 2007 version. If there are differences they must be insignificant and very minor. So no need to run and buy the new version if you already have the 1992 version. Except if you simply must have the best video and audio version available. But to watch this masterpiece in a top class cinema is a chance that shouldn't be missed.
