| Title: Ultra Real | | Comments: | The last record from Sigue Sigue Sputnik before the band split up again and Martin Degville continued as Sputnik2 and Tony James and Neal X pretty much disappeared from the world of Sputnik. This album is really cool and stays incredibly close to the sound of "Flaunt It" with great melodies, great guitar and great lyrics. Unfortunately the production is pretty bad and spoils some of the fun. A real shame since it really could have been a Sputnik masterpiece. But all in all it is still a great Sputnik record. Actually completely unbelievable that they decided to split after making such a great album. |

| Title: Blak Elvis vs. The Kings of Electronic Rock and Roll (Japan) | | Comments: | This is a Japan cd and it has 2 extra mixes that I don't like at all. Also the mixing of some of the other songs are different. I can' really make up my mind if it is better or worse than the european version. |
| Important Tracks: | The King of Rock and Roll, Always on my Mindwarp, Mystery Trainz, Kan't Help falling in Love, The King of Rock and Roll(widescreen). |

| Title: 21st Century Boys (best of) | | Comments: | A compilation album of all singles and some of the b-sides. It is a pretty good compilation but the packaging is lousy and could have been a lot cooler considering the way Sputnik used to package their albums and 12inches. But I guess EMI preferred just to make some easy money instead of making art. |

| Title: Blak Elvis vs. The Kings of Electronic Rock and Roll | | Comments: | This is an Elvis Presley tribute album by Sputnik. It's not exactly my favourite Sputnik album but some of the tracks are quite fine. Especially "The King of Rock and Roll" is really cool but several of the Elvis tracks are worth a listen or two as well. |

| Title: Sci-Fi Sex Stars | | Comments: | This is a compilation of remixes and outtakes. The "Love Missile F1-11[dakeyne megamix]" is also known as the "DMC Sputnik mix" and it is VERY cool. Also you will notice several songs used on the "Sputnik - The next Generation" album: "The Future's On Fire With Rock'n'Roll", "Monalisa Overdrive" and "Youth Juice". On this cd they are however with Degville on vocals and that makes them much better! |
| Important Tracks: | Rockit Miss USA[madman vs. speedranch], Love Missile F1-11[dakeyne megamix], Teenage Thunder, Razz Crazy, The Future's On Fire With Rock'n'Roll, Monalisa Overdrive, Youth Juice, Suicide. |

| Title: Pirate Space (pre-release) | | Comments: | Sputnik's "comeback" album from 2000 when they had rebuilt Sputnik as a trio (James, X, Degville) and started using the internet for promotion and began recording and playing live gigs again. It sounds quite different to the old Sputnik sound and is more experimental in an electronic way with less of the typical Sputnik stun guitar. Some of it actually works pretty well. Some of it not so well. The pre-release has an extra track "Zero Zero" that I've never been too much in love with. |

| Title: Flaunt It / Dress For Excess | | Comments: | This is a 2 albums on one cd collection. Unfortunately they managed to skip "Success" and "Dancerama" in the process so I guess the end result pretty much sucks. Buy the 2 albums instead of this one. |

| Title: The Ultimate 12" Collection | | Comments: | This is a really cool collection of Sputnik remixes. "Atari Baby[97 remix]" is the only new remix and it fits in perfectly with the rest. A must have collection for the true Sputnik fanatic. |
| Important Tracks: | Love Missile[ultraviolence], Jayne Mansfield[extended], Atari Baby[97 remix], Rockit Miss USA[sci-fi sex stars], Satellite[extended], 21st Century Boy[german remix], Orgasm[extended], Super Crook Blues[extended], Dancerama[kashmir remix], Sex Bomb Boogie[vid single], Rio Rocks[heavy] |

| Title: The F1rst Generation/2econd Edition | | Comments: | Here we go again. This is version #2. "Rebel Rebel" has been removed. "It's My Planet" and "Techno Krash" has been added. "It's My Planet" is okay, but "Rebel Rebel" should not have been excluded. |

| Title: Sputnik - The Next Generation (featuring Hotei) | | Comments: | This was a 1995 project by Tony James and Neal X where they tried to launch a new version of Sputnik having Christopher Novack on vocals and also featuring Japanese guitar hero Tomoyasu Hotei. It failed pretty much due to internal band problems and also due to problems with the label. It was only released in Japan. It's got a Sputnik vibe to it, and some songs are okay, but it has way too much of a pop feel and sound to it, and the vocals totally suck compared to Martin Degville. |
| Important Tracks: | Like There's No Tomorrow, Youth Juice, Mona Lisa Overdrive, Spaceage Journey, This Is Terrorvision, Cyberspace Party, Baby Wonderful, King Of Planet Love, Future's On Fire(With Rock'n'Roll), Cyber City Never Sleeps[japan only bonus track]. |

| Title: World War Four | | Comments: | This is Degville's solo album released in 1991 when Sputnik had split for the first time. It is a pretty good record and Martin and guitarist Mick Rossi do a great job in maintaining the Sputnik sound and the lyrics stay loyal to the Sputnik universe. |
| Important Tracks: | Nuclear Powered Sex Machine, Judge Dread On A BSA, Only The Lonely, Saturn 5, Transformer Transex, Freak Show City, Space Rider, Planet Mars, Sexy Lover. |

| Title: The First Generation | | Comments: | This album seems to be re-released in all eternity in slightly different versions, this being the first version. It contains the first raw demo versions of Sputnik songs in good quality. Also it has some extra tracks with "Ultra Violence" and "Rebel Rebel" (the Bowie song) as the 2 most interesting. |

| Title: Dress For Excess | | Comments: | The second album wasn't produced by Moroder and I think it lost some edge compared to "Flaunt It". It has a bit more of a pop sound to it and it doesn't quite hit you in the face like the debut did. It still has lots of great tracks though and several of the single b-sides are worth checking out as well. "Success" was produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman and they did a "great" job in killing the song pretty much. "Dancerama" was the b-side of the "Sex-Bomb-Boogie" single but the "Dress For Excess" version is more polished and not as great as the b-side. While "Dress For Excess" is not a perfect album it's still a pretty nice thing to listen to. |
| Important Tracks: | Albinoni Vs. Star Wars[parts 1&2], Boom Boom Satellite, Hey Jayne Mansfield Superstar!, Super Crook Blues, Rio Rocks!, Success, Dancerama, M-A-D[mutual assured destruction] |

| Title: Flaunt It | | Comments: | The ultimate product for any teenager in 1986 looking for the coolest sounding and looking band in the world. Sigue Sigue Sputnik had it all including outrageous looks, the wildest videos, an insane number of remix 12inches and the greatest electronic rock'n'roll ever heard. Giorgio Moroder produced their debut and blasted it full of samples and space guitar. The fact that most music critics hated it just makes the critics stand out as worthless cunts. This album was (and still is) way ahead of it's time. From the commercials between the tracks to the guitar in "Sex Bomb Boogie". Sigue Sigue Sputnik DID invent the future. |
