Really great and unconventional mockumentary of the well known figure skating drama in 1994, involving Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan. It is a far out story, and it is told here with lots of humor. The movie may not be 100% historically correct, but who cares, when it's this entertaining and funny, and all the actors are really great. Even the ice skating bits are really nicely done. Margot Robbie may be a bit ... [read more]

What we really want, is a movie with Liam Neeson that is almost as great as the first "Taken" [2008]. Violent, over-the-top, satisfying from beginning to end, and with some great characters. Well, "The Commuter" isn't that movie either. The beginning is fine. We meet our hero Michael MacCauley [Liam Neeson], who is having a shit day getting fired from his job. Luckily he is also an ex-cop, so he knows how to investigate ... [read more]

These are the 10 best albums I bought in 2017: I'm not gonna try to put them in any order, because it all depends on my mood. If they made this list, it means I like them. Slægt: Domus Mysterium

This was my 4th Adam Ant concert and it could and should have been perfect. When I saw my first Ant live gig in 2010, Adam was still fighting his personal demons and seemed somewhat unstable. It made for an uneven gig with lots of interruptions. In 2014 I saw him two nights in a row when he played the entire "Dirk Wears White Søx" album. It was a near perfect experience with ... Remember Episode VII [2015] where they more or less copied the entire plot from Episode IV [1977] ? In the beginning of this new episode you think that they are about to copy Episode V [1980], which of course would have been lame. Instead they use a different strategy. They have a plot so thin that it almost isn't there. It's just one long ridiculous escape. The characters are still the same: Action ... [read more]

I can't remember the original(s), I don't like Agatha Christie, I think the Hercule Poirot character is a twat, and I only saw this movie because a friend of mine pointed a gun at me and said I had to. The movie has lots of well-known actors (including new Star Wars girl - Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and lots more), none of them sucked, none of them did anything memorable either. ... Endvidere haltede ... [read more]

Jesper's solo debut won't blow you away, but on the other hand it won't scare you away either. He is the voice of Disneyland After Dark, and that unique voice and sound is still a major part of this album. The other D-A-Dsters have been replaced by Søren Andersen, Hede, Borre, Rønlow, who all do a fine job on the album. Live they are a lot more anonymous, except for Søren. Some of the ... [read more]

What sounded like a mission impossible, has ended up quite differently. With the sad loss of first Flattus and shortly after, the mighty Oderus, it seemed that GWAR had been knocked out for good. I had no hope of ever listening to a new record from my favorite alien space gods. How wrong I was. "The burden is greater Since we lost your voice Still they hate us As if we have a choice ... Warner E. Hodges hit Malmö once again (it happens quite often in fact.) This time it was not as guitarist in neither Jason And The Scorchers nor with Dan Baird And Homemade Sin. (Warner will in fact return with DBAHS next week, with The Bluefield's Joe Blanton on vocals because of Dan's current condition. Now back to last night. I thought I was gonna see a regular Warner E. Hodges show, but in fact ... [read more]
